Bull supplies Africa’s biggest hypermarket: the Marjane at Derb Soltan in Casablanca

In Morocco, Bull has recently equipped the largest hypermarket in Africa, part of the Marjane chain. Bull was chosen to supply the 55-checkout hypermarket with a solution based around Linux®, a first for Morocco’s retail industry. The solution comprises servers from Bull’s Express5800 range and running under Linux in a redundant configuration to ensure 24/7 service availability, checkout equipment and a front-office solution supplied by Bull’s partner Torex, as well as testing, installation, support and training services.
