Bull acquires AMG.net, a consulting and integration company in advanced IT solutions for telcos

On March 2 nd , Bull has announced the acquisition of AMG.net, a Polish consulting and integration company specialized in advanced open IT solutions for the telecommunications and finance sector.

This acquisition is in line with Bull ‘Horizon 2008’ strategic plan to establish itself as a European leader in information technology while strengthening its position in the fast growing markets of Eastern and Central Europe.

AMG.net brings its expertise in delivering innovative IT solutions and its growth momentum. This acquisition will reinforce the expertise of Bull’s services centre in Warsaw, specialized in open technologies together with those of Echirolles, in France and Sao Paulo, in Brazil.

" This strategic acquisition marks a new phase in the development of the Telecommunications activities of Bull ," confirms Jean-François Leprince-Ringuet, General Manager of Bull's Telecommunications and Media Division . " This acquisition will leverage the synergies between AMG.net and Bull’s know-how and expertise, and will enable the creation of a major European Bull competence centre in the Telecommunications and Media areas for Eastern and Central Europe. AMG.net brings complementary technical competences to Bull and will help us strengthen our position with major international operators .”

AMG.net is an integrator and consulting firm with 150 consultants and engineers, backed-up by fast and profitable growth of 20% a year. In 2005, AMG.net announced revenues of around € 6 million in the development and maintenance of advanced IT solutions. AMG.net is a front office applications leader in the Polish telecommunications and finance markets, providing a range of consulting and implementation services in the customer relationship areas: self care, service processes and marketing, content and document management.
