The European Commission awards a consortium with Bull a € 9.6 million IT support services contract
A consortium including Bull has been selected to be the one of the two contractors to cascade a framework contract for the provision of "IT Service Support on a Times and Means basis" for the European Commission’s General Directorate for Informatics (DIGIT).
DIGIT is the body responsible for defining the IT strategy of the European Commission and coordinating the development of the technology and the information systems required by the Commission to provide services of the highest quality to its employees as well as to the citizens of the European Union.
This four year contract is valued at some € 9.6 million for the three partners: Econocom (Consortium Leader), Cronos International and Bull – Bull’s share representing around 30%. It applies to Corporate Service Support through the provision of IT professionals, who have high level of expertise and technical certifications, for assignments to be executed on the Commission’s premises in Brussels, Luxembourg, Strasbourg, Dublin, and in the locations of the Joint Research Centers (JRC) in Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland and Germany.
