The agenda for this day-long event for members of the Bull European User Group (CUBE) features an introduction to the Center by its Director, Michel Bracquemond, followed by several other presentations, including:
- Jean-Louis Clavaud on Cooperation with IBM on AIX
- Eric Monchalin on Innovation at Bull: the High-Performance Computing (HPC) program
- Denis Bram on Open Source innovation.

A tour of the HPC and Storage Area Network (SAN) labs, as well as the High-Availability Center is also planned. Finally, the day will end with a round-table discussion on the latest developments and services at Bull.

Altair Engineering will host its 2nd European HyperWorks Technology Conference (EHTC) from September 30th until October 1st in Strasbourg, France. After last year's success, the 2nd EHTC will bring together experts from all industries, presenting their experience with HyperWorks and highlighting the latest trends, developments and applications in the field of enterprise simulation. The next World e-Democracy Forum will be held in the Paris suburb of Issy-les-Moulineaux on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 October. The theme of this year’s event is: Europe and the challenges of e-Government 2.0. The discussions will focus particularly on European priorities, given that the French will hold the EU Presidency in the second half of 2008, and on Franco-German issues, given that this year has been designated as Franco-German year of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT).

On Thursday 16 October at 11:00 am , Bull, as one of the Forum’s sponsors, will be taking part in the plenary session to launch the event. In the course of the session, Didier Lamouche , Bull’s Chairman and CEO, will be presenting along with André Santini , the Mayor of Issy-les-Moulineaux and French Minister of State responsible for the Civil Service and Eric Besson , Minister of State with responsibility for Forward Planning, Assessment of Public Policies and Development of the Digital Economy, among others.
