Functions
Server Access Management
	FDA and Optima Storage software’s Access Control module manages security of disk subsystems shared by several servers. Storage zones specific to each server are defined to control user access. Several servers may also have access to the same data zones. This module is included in the basic FDA and Optima Storage Manager package. Access rights are set up and displayed by FDA and Optima Storage Manager.
Multipathing server access to data
	StoreWay Multipath control software ensures data-access continuity (redundancy, fail over) and load sharing (static and dynamic). Software associated with adapters operating on the application servers are dependent on the operating systems and are in relation with storage. Leveraging on its years of experience in the field, Bull has developed reliability mechanisms, which provide the user with outstanding uptime rates on various operating systems with differing operating modes, including Linux, Windows and AIX.
