	The NovaScale B240 blade server strengthens Bull’s Bio Data Center offering, aimed at combining flexibility, performance and sustainable development within the Data Center.
Energy efficiency and exceptional robustness
	The NovaScale B240 consumes 50% less energy compared to a traditional server with the same capacity, while providing class-enterprise RAS functionalities in an easy-to-use blade form-factor. Thanks to its performance, a great number of critical applications such as SAP can be supported by the NovaScale B240 server. The standard Bull Blade Chassis is less than 35cm high and can integrate up to 14x blade servers, based either on Intel or Power6 processors. Bull thus provides one single, scalable and easy to manage platform for customers using VMware, Linux, Windows and AIX.
Rapid Deployment
	Done manually, basic provisioning can take up to four or more hours per server. With the Rapid Deployment Solution a technician can provision multiple blade servers rapidly and automatically. Administrators can deploy dozens of blade servers in one or more chassis in nearly the same time it takes to deploy a single blade manually. This significantly cuts the time and cost of multiple server deployment and eliminates many of the deployment errors encountered in manual deployment scenarios. In addition the RDS solution provides the ability to deploy updates, to migrate towards a VMware infrastructure and to restore application stacks.
