	The Bull NovaScale R460 F2 integrates the latest technologies such as Intel® Xeon® Hexa Core 5600 processor series , DDR3 memory, and PCIe2 to concentrate maximum performance in a 2U chassis. It features 18 slots of memory, 4 integrated Gigabit Ethernet controllers with extension capacities, to insure successful consolidation or virtualization in the datacenter. For increased data protection, the Bull NovaScale R460 F2 offers RAID configurations with versatile optional PCI SAS/SATA RAID controllers.

	The Bull NovaScale R460 F2 offers unparalleled levels of expandability, giving the choice between 8x 2.5" internal hot-swap SAS/SSD disk drives and 6x 3.5" internal hot-swap SAS/SATA disk drives, in a space-saving 2U rack design. For optimized flexibility, the Bull NovaScale R460 F2 supports a 3.5’’ bay for an half-height back-up device and proposes 5 slots of PCI Express of second generation.
Easy set-up & manageability
	The Bull NovaScale R460 F2 allows easy set-up and configurability thanks to the Unified Server Configurator (USC), delivered with an "Enterprise" class management board. Associated with Bull System Manager, an extensive manageability software suite, it allows to perform critical actions such as remote power control, remote Event Log access or remote console redirection, regardless of the state of the operating system or network.
