	The Bull NovaScale R460 F3 integrates the latest technologies such as Intel® Xeon® 8-core E5-2600 processor series, DDR3 LR DIMM memory, and PCIe Gen3 to concentrate maximum performance in a 2U chassis. It features 24 slots of memory, flexible embedded Ethernet controllers (from 1 to 10 Gb/s), to insure successful consolidation or virtualization in the datacenter. To face the increasing amount of data, the Bull NovaScale R460 F3 offers up to 16 disks.
Best-in-class expandability & Flexibility
	The Bull NovaScale R460 F3 offers unparalleled levels of expandability, giving the choice between 16x 2.5" internal hot-swap SAS/SATA/SSD disk drives and 8x 3.5" internal hot-swap SAS/SATA disk drives, in a space-saving 2U rack design. For optimized flexibility, the Bull NovaScale R460 F3 offers a large choice of embedded LAN controllers and up to 7 PCIe Gen3 slots.
Impressive availability
	For increased availability and data integrity, the NovaScale R460 F3 features hot-plug components: disks, power supplies and cooling fans. As well as power and cooling redundancy, it offers redundancy with split disk backplanes and hypervisor dual SD modules. It also integrates memory protection and a large choice of RAID solutions. Moreover, reliability has been improved including operating temperature range that could be extended in a limited time frame.
Manageability and Energy saving
	The Bull NovaScale R460 F3 allows easy set-up and configurability thanks to the Unified Server Configurator (USC), delivered with an "Enterprise" class management board. Associated with the Bull System Manager, an extensive manageability software suite, it gives remote emergency access and control of server resources. Besides, to reduce energy consumptions, the Bull NovaScale R460 F3 includes advanced power management and power capping features, such as low voltage processors and memory, power budget, fan rotation optimization, thermal management, very high efficiency Label 80+ Platinum power supplies and even a range of power supplies which best fit your configuration.
