
Hamburg, 21 June 2011 – Bull and seven Founding Members are proud to announce the creation of the Bull User group for eXtreme Computing (BUX) on 20 June 2011, at ISC'11 in Hamburg.
BUX is an independent worldwide group of users that will cooperate to increase the capabilities of the large-scale, parallel scientific and technical computing solutions supplied by Bull, to promote the exchange of information and understanding of these systems, and to provide guidance to Bull on the essential development and support issues for large-scale technical systems. Bull, as an Affiliate, is committed to supporting this new user group.
BUX has grown out of the increase over the past few months in the number of Bull customers wanting to share their experiences and actively propose new ideas and initiatives and, as a result, to help ensure that Bull and its offerings secure a leading position in the Extreme Computing market.
