e-biscus achieves fast and efficient clearance despite rapidly-changing and very complex regulations

e-biscus Manifest tracks consignments

e-biscus Manifest ensures the systematic tracking of each consignment until it is cleared or accounted for. It includes the management of cargo manifests, deconsolidations, transit declarations and customs areas >

e-biscus Clearance ensures the accurate discharge of all goods declarations according to the applicable customs regime

e-biscus Clearance records, checks and processes goods declarations. The module supports the Single Administrative Document (SAD) used in many countries.
e-biscus Clearance can handle all customs regimes including import, export, suspense procedures (in and out) and ensures the accurate discharge of the declaration >

e-biscus Tariff & Regulation assesses duties in real time and enforces non-tariff measures corresponding to national regulations

e-biscus Tariff & Regulation maintains the national nomenclature of goods and related regulations. When connected to e-biscus Clearance, the tariff engine automatically, and in real time, indicates the necessary attachments, calculates all the duties, excises, taxes, levies, and guarantee levels, and enforces non-tariff measures >

e-biscus Risk Assessment detects high-risk cargo and goods in real time

e-biscus Risk Assessment reports on the risk associated to a summary declaration (cargo manifest) or a goods declaration (SAD) at different points in the import or export workflow (eg. arrival or departure of a ship, entry into/exit from customs areas).
When a declaration is registered, the Risk Assessment module automatically determines the selectivity channel using national and locally-defined risk profiles, as well as valuation data and expert rules >

e-biscus Post-Clearance Audit tools target focused investigations

The Post-Clearance Audit tools feature a knowledge-based agent aimed at spotting suspicious declarations. The analysis is carried out according to user-defined risk profiles and behaviour patterns. Audit cases are created and assigned to pools of inspectors according to their profiles (skills). Alternatively a supervisor can assign or reassign a case manually. The audit reports are entered into the system against the audit case and the system learns from the results of previous audits and refines the selection criteria accordingly >

The following modules are the ‘gateways’ to the European Union. They have been specifically designed for Member States to ensure compliance with the EU Commission requirements.
  • e-biscus TARIC (Integrated Community Tariff) to enforce EU tariffs and regulations
  • e-biscus TQM (Tariff Quotas Management) to access quotas managed at EU level
  • e-biscus Surveillance to provide the Commission with requested statistical data on specific goods
  • e-biscus CCN/CSI Connectivity to link the above modules and future extensions with the EU.

These modules are immediately operational when integrated with other e-biscus modules and their native interfaces deliver fully automatic processing of these complex, interlinked EU requirements >
