Bull Industrial & Logistics Services (BILS)’s mission is to industrialize, manufacture, integrate and assemble hi-tech products as well as to manage the supply chain.

BILS brings all its expertise and industrial competencies to Group Bull project teams to industrialize and manufacture servers and computer solutions. As Bull IT manufacturer, BILS’s mission is to:

  • Participate upstream to new products industrialization with the Research & Development teams, and manufacture prototypes and pre-series, important phases to help concurrent engineering.

  • Work with the major electronic subcontractors and keeping up with technological innovations., evaluating sub-contractors’ capacities and looking for competitiveness.

  • Manage OEM’s and large account projects by adapting to their specific needs while guaranteeing quality and implementation of an action plan and respecting commitments

  • Be able to adapt itself to the fast market evolutions: competencies management, investment control, method and operational quality teams, …

Supply Chain Management

BILS has implemented an efficient Supply Chain Management to offer global solutions:

  • Purchases and procurements planned and optimised in accordance with needs; the key steps are customer order, material requirements planning, simulation, supplier selection and procurement. BILS benefits from famous hi-tech partners such as Intel, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Seagate, Samsung, NEC, EMC, …

  • Information in real time on project status thanks to an Information System that pilots, alerts, simulates, controls and measures the supply chain. A Track & Trace, via Internet, allowing you to track orders until final delivery.

Bull’s Quality Management policy

In the dynamics of Bull’s Quality Management policy, BILS undertook a global certification approach last September 2004, that allows the integration in a single QSE management system the 3 norms Quality, Health-Security, Environment:

  • Quality (ISO 9001 obtained in 1990): It ensures that all the process are under control and that the managerial objectives are implemented. The standard version 2000, implemented since December 2003, is particularly based on the customer needs, resource management, and imposes the demonstration of the Quality System efficiency

  • Health-Security (OHSAS 18001 obtained in September 2004): It concerns managing health and safety risks in the workplace, both for employees and visitors to the site and allows performance improvements.

  • Environment (ISO 14001 obtained in December 2001): It imposes management of the business in terms of waste pollution risks and end-of-life product treatment.
