Allinea Software is a trading division of Concurrent Thinking Ltd., a rapidly growing company focused entirely on the creation and support of high performance cluster computer systems together with associated software and system support.

The Distributed Debugging Tool (DDT) is a comprehensive graphical debugger designed for the complex task of debugging parallel code. DDT has a unique and intuitive graphical interface that puts you in control of your parallel application, whether you are working with 4 processes on a workstation or 1024 processes across a high-performance cluster. The tool gives users a common interface for every compiler, language and MPI distribution.

DDT is followed by OPT - the Optimization and Profiling Tool.

The Optimization and Profiling Tool (OPT) is the awaited companion product to DDT which aims to enable developers and benchmarkers to find bottlenecks in MPI codes and consequently to improve performance.
OPT brings a different focus to make easy problem detection instead of focussing on localized minor problems. It emphasizes balance – aiming to reduce programmed latency, automation of bottleneck detection, traditional MPI tracing via an advanced timeline with integrated stack information and charts
OPT is Grid-ready. Its GUI connects to profiling servers over the web or secure protocols. OPT is ready for the future.

DDT when associated with OPT, is bringing to the developers the best of the bread of the HPC development tools.
