Bull announces the acquisition of its subsidiary Maine CI by Elco

Bull confirms its strategic repositioning

Paris, January 16th, 2008 : Bull today announces having signed on January 11th, 2008 with Elco, an agreement to sell 100% of its subsidiary, Maine Circuits Imprimés (Maine CI).

An Italian leader in printed circuits, Elco is present in the aerospace, military, industrial and telecommunications markets. In 2006, Elco achieved revenues of 25 million euros.

Based in Angers (France), Maine CI is specialized in complex and multi layer printed circuits. Maine CI targets the aerospace, military, scientific and technology markets. With 80 people and revenues of 7 million euros in 2006, Maine CI is a French leader in circuit prototypes and small series. Maine CI has a large customer portfolio including key names.

Elco opens up a new growth potential to Maine CI while capitalizing on the Group’s international presence and widened offerings. In addition, Elco also is committed to an investment of several million euros in Maine CI within the next two years, enabling Maine CI to fulfill customers’ new expectations.

This transaction embodies Bull’s capacity to achieve its transformation while reaching its objectives.

Maine CI will join Elco’s consolidation scope as of January 1st, 2008.
