Bull is an international partner of Liferay, with successful projects in France, Spain, Poland and Brazil. Backed by its privileged relationship with Liferay, the expertise of its development teams and the experience shared through its worldwide Services Centers and Skills Centers, Bull has developed an integration environment dedicated to new-generation Enterprise Portal projects: PADS (Portal Application Design Suite). PADS is a solution that enables heterogeneous business applications to be integrated and combined within a Web portal. The solution is built using a structure of Open Source bricks (Liferay, Bonita, FuseESB, and Drools) and a set of integration components. With an innovative architecture and wide functional coverage, the product comprises several integrated modules, packaged and ready to use (PADS-Portal, PADS-BPM, PADS-ESB) and a tool box supporting the life cycle of the product (IDE, Studio, CMS, Administration).

Bull is s recognised specialist in heterogeneous environments, where Unix, mainframe, Open Source and Windows® systems co-exist. Bull is therefore in a position to take full advantage of solutions from Microsoft®, which is committed to interoperability to facilitate the integration of its products with third-party solutions. The first version of Bonita was released in 2001 through the French National Institute for Data Processing Research (INRI). It allowed the processes in a business to be created, orchestrated and improved in combination with its information system. Bonita has incubated over 7 years in Bull’s R&D teams and is now being supported by BonitaSoft. BonitaSoft was created in 2009 and is the first publisher of a Business Process Management (BPM) solution in the Open Source community. The company has sites in France (Grenoble and Paris), the United States (Boston and San-Francisco), as well as in China (Beijing), and offers a complete range of services from training to support and consulting publisher. Bull’s business experience and understanding can be used to integrate numerous software packages in complex information systems. Bonita adapts to all types and sizes of businesses. Being historically close to the founders of BonitaSoft, Bull has developed specific development, integration and support skills. Bull provides one-stop Open Source industrial support and complements support for the Bonita Open Solution software with telephone and local support, covering levels 1 and 2 in addition to level 3 support from BonitaSoft.

Oracle is a partner with Bull for both database applications and middleware. An Oracle Platinum partner, Bull was committed very early to Fusion Middleware offers.
