  • Simplified manageability and low management costs

Hanover March 11, 2006 – Bull unveils the new NovaScale Blade 2320 based on the dual-core Low Voltage Intel® Xeon® technology. This new server benefits from of lower thermal design power, using Enhanced Intel Demand-based switching (DBS) technology.

In addition, this blade has up to 8GB of DDR-2 RAM memory, two internal 2,5" Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) disks. NovaScale Blade 2320 runs Linux® RedHat®, Novell® SuSE Linux, Microsoft® Windows® or VmWare® ESX.

A blade server designed for the consolidation of hundreds of servers in space-constrained environments

Bull NovaScale Blade 2320 features makes it the ideal platform for large enterprises – such as Financial institutions or Telecom providers – which need to concentrate hundreds of servers in thermally-sensitive and space-constrained environments.

The NovaScale Blade 2320 requires minimal cooling, and generates low heat.

Advanced network virtualization and storage

With Safekit, Bull’s optional advanced network virtualisation, HA and disaster recovery software, and Bulls enhanced Storeway Storage offer, the NovaScale Blade 2320 server delivers network management solutions for security, voice, infrastructure applications including web-serving, search engines and telecommunications servers.

Simplified manageability and low management costs

NovaScale Master - an integrated system management console - delivers simplified manageability of Bull’s NovaScale Intel® Xeon® and Itanium® 2 processor server ranges.

The NovaScale Master Management Suite is also a deployment tool that instantly and automatically provisions and deploys multiple blades. In addition, NovaScale Master provides standard-based interfaces for an easy integration into today’s enterprise management consoles.
