Paris, Bull Y2K Crisis Management Team, 19.30 : No millenium bug problem so far

At this moment, no problem at all has been detected by the Bull Y2K Crisis Management Team. On the internal side, the people in charge of the Bull information system remain very confident after having completed all the latest tests worldwide. On Bull's customers side, all clients in all the countries having already passed the fatal time (including New Caledonia, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Taiwan and China) said they have got through it without any kind of disturbance. This is confirmed by the official informations published by the governments authorities of all the countries concerned : "so far, no information system has caused any major problem related to the feared millenium computer bug".

Paris, Cellule de Crise AN 2000, 19.30 : Aucun problème de bug jusqu'ici

Jusqu'à présent, la cellule de crise An 2000 mise en place par Bull n'a rencontré aucun problème lié au passage à l'an 2000 des systèmes informatiques. En interne, après les derniers tests effectués, les responsables des systèmes restent confiants et sereins. Chez les clients de Bull, aucun problème majeur n'a été signalé pour l'instant dans les pays qui ont déjà franchi le fameux cap : Nouvelle-Zélande, Australie, Japon, Taiwan et Chine. Ces constats rassurants confirment les informations officielles publiées par les différentes instances gouvernementales concernées : " jusqu'ici, aucun système informatique n'a causé le moindre problème de continuité de service lié au bogue de l'an 2000 ".
