(1) Year 2000 readiness requires installation of PTFs. Bull strongly recommends to upgrade your AIX platform to the lastest versions : AIX 4.3 or AIX 4.2. However if you decide to keep AIX 3.2, please note that the installation of PTFs requires an AIX 3.2.55 maintenance level. For more detailed information, please contact your local Bull Customer Services organization. You can download the PTFs from the IBM web site, along with a tool to verify whether they are installed. You can also obtain detailed information on the corrections provided by these PTFs from the IBM web site.
