(1) This system is based on CPU 80286 and runs in conjunction with operating system STARSYS V10 or CTOS-E which are not Year 2000 ready.

(2) Year 2000 readiness would require a migration to CTOS III version 1.3.5, additional memory no longer available and changes in user applications.

(3) Year 2000 readiness depending on the BIOS version running on BQ490, Bull strongly recommends an audit of your system BQ490 in order to assess this level of readiness.

(4) Year 2000 Readiness status for Bull Questar Z-Station Z425 SX (Rigel), 486 Sx (BIOS 9FC0),  Z325 Sn, and Z433 Dh is as follows:

  • Under CTOS, set the date the first time the system is used in Year 2000.
    • System Reinit date kept: Yes
    • System Boot date kept: Yes
  • Year 2000 roll-over: Yes
