1. Scope and contents

1.1. General

Year 2000 is too serious an issue to be taken lightly. We feel that we can serve your interests best by stating our position clearly and unequivocally. The main text on this page sets out our Year 2000 commitments. The marginal notes in italics are intended to clarify particular points.

This catalogue (the "Catalogue", in what follows) provides information on the Year 2000 status of products manufactured and/or marketed by the companies of Groupe Bull and included in Groupe Bull companies' catalogues (the "Products", in what follows), it being understood that some of the Products mentioned in the Catalogue are not available worldwide. Inclusion of references to Products in this Catalogue neither implies nor constitutes an undertaking by Bull that such Products are or will continue to be available or supported by Bull.

Earlier versions of the Products, not explicitly listed with a version number in this Catalogue, are deemed to be "Not Year 2000 Ready".

This Catalogue does not provide information on nonstandard products or on products provided by third parties. You are advised to contact the manufacturer or editor of such products for information on their Year 2000 status. For this reason, we strongly recommend you to perform a diagnosis of your whole information system in order to determine the Year 2000 readiness of all the products you use (see section 2 below).

The information contained in this catalogue is not exhaustive but is believed to be accurate at the date of its publication, based upon available information.

This Catalogue is subject to change at any time without notice by Bull. The official version of this Catalogue, containing successive changes, updates and corrections, and which replaces all previous versions, is the English version available on-line on the Internet at: http://www.bull.com/year2000/

The term "Year 2000 ready" is not used as a trademark or a tradename of product or services but as a litteral expression to define a technical status of our product.
