Bull Info 2000 is a phone hot-line service available in most countries where Bull is present:

Year 2000 Assistance Center

This service is available, in every country where Bull is present, to all Bull customers with a maintenance or Year 2000 service contract.

The Bull Year 2000 Assistance Center's objectives are twofold:

  • to provide fast and reliable answers to any Year 2000 request,
  • to ensure that every single Year 2000 problem, reported by a Bull customer, receives either a solution or a work-around. The local Assistance Centers are backed up by the International Assistance Center and, if necessary, by Engineering Rapid Response Teams in each Bull Product Division.

Year 2000 Dedicated Services

Year 2000 Information System Audit

This fast and economic audit service identifies all potential problems and provides you with all the information and recommendations you need for a smooth transition to the year 2000.

Year 2000 Platform Upgrade and Migration

Based on a Year 2000 Information System Audit, our engineers will implement anything from required modifications through to operating system updates.

The price and duration of this service for any given customer is determined at the outset, and this service may be provided at whatever time during the working day, at night or during the weekend, that is most convenient to the customer concerned.

This might even be a good opportunity to update your IT operation by migrating operating system, applications and/or other components.

Year 2000 Tests and Back-up System Loan

Once your platform modifications have been prepared, you can test and validate them on a backup system (using real data) located either on our premises or on one of your sites.

A system engineer is available to assist you during this validation phase.


Year 2000 On-site Assistance

In addition to the above services, you can also get assistance:

  • on-site from a dedicated engineer for as long as you require (depending on availability).
  • on-call intervention by a system engineer, even at very short notice (less than 4 hours).
