AS/U (Advanced Server for UNIX systems) on the AIX robust operating system is the Bull's implementation of Microsoft's high-performance, full-featured network operating system. It enables AIX platforms such as Bull's scalable multi-processor Escala and Powercluster systems, Estrella workgroup servers to act as servers for PC (client) applications using the operating systems MS-DOS, OS/2, Windows, Windows for Workgroups, Windows 95, or Windows NT workstation.

Life cycle status

AS/U - OpenTeam 4.0 is actively sold and supported. See the compliance catalog for Year 2000 readiness.

Testing status

Current tests aim to identify residual problems in component products and indicate the version which provides full Year 2000 readiness. Their results will be posted as updates to the compliance catalog.
