The Bull NovaScale Business Partners Program is designed to provide Systems Integrators and VARS with access to the Bull family of Intel® Itanium® 2 servers that offer unprecedented price/performance ratios, scalability, reliability, and investment protection. These servers support industry-leading operating systems, including Windows 2003 and Linux, which is rapidly becoming the operating system of choice amongst IT executives. The Bull NovaScale® family includes a range of modular, standards-based products -- from blade servers to large SMP (Symmetric Multi-Processing) servers -- designed to run the most demanding business-critical and scientific applications.
According to the IDC Report entitled, Bull Fills Out NovaScale Line, “Bull's NovaScale servers are mainframe-class systems based on a modular architecture and using standard building blocks. IDC believes that there are a number of features of Bull's NovaScale line, which differentiate them from competitive products…including scalability, cost, reliability, and manageability.”
Recently, Bull’s NovaScale set a world record by achieving the best performance in the 8-way server category, according to the Transaction Processing Council TPC-C benchmark with a result that was 12% higher than the previous record for 8-way servers.
