State of Maine selects NovaScale for key citizen services

The State of Maine Office of Information Technology has purchased a Bull NovaScale 9165/321 system, GCOS 8 SR6, a FDA2500 Disk Array, Virtuo Subsystem, and a NEO4000 library to provide services for their Bureau of Motor Vehicles and their Department of Health and Human Services. (Read more >>)

OESC employs NovaScale 9000 and Virtuo

The State of Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC) has ordered a Bull NovaScale 9325 (Helios) system and a StoreWay Virtuo (Virtual Tape System) to run their Labor and Workforce Management’s GCOS 8 applications. The NovaScale 9325 also includes three OPEN partitions: one to be used as a Database Server Processor (DBSP) and the other two for hosting Labor and Workforce Management applications that run under Linux and/or Windows 2003. Minnesota Department of Human Services wins national CIO award

Bull Services customer recognized by NASCIO for innovative effort to prevent and eliminate welfare fraud. The National Association of State CIOs (NASCIO) selected the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) as its first place winner in the organization’s 2007 Recognition Awards competition in the category “Data, Information, and Knowledge Management.” NASCIO recognized Minnesota DHS for its Program Integrity efforts to reduce and eliminate welfare fraud.
