GCOS8 Technical Support

Bull Services’ GCOS8 technical support services includes the following:
- TP8 Workstation Management – analysis, modifications, or new definitions of TPS workstations, as well as performance tuning
- Forms Management and Modification – Assistance in management of forms, using TSM, TPFF, or other forms manager, including new design and implementation or maintenance
- IDS-II – Assistance in database management, including changes to schemas, sub-schemas, or records; file space modification and database reorganization
- UTIL2, UTIL8, SORT, TEX , JCL – (job setup, job flow), or other utilities
- Program/File Abort Analysis – Support to identify and correct operational problems, program aborts, file space problems, etc.
- Host/PC Interactions – Support in Host/PC interactions, file uploading and downloading, file conversion, etc.
- Emulator (GLINK, etc.) Scripts – Support for user scripting, or automated procedures using scripts
- GWEB – Web-enable and maintain legacy applications
- File Space Management – Support in file space usage, tracking of resources available, or defining new or modifying existing file definitions
- Batch Operational/Run Procedure, Analysis, Definition – Support in analyzing system batch or TP operations to correct problems, make operations more efficient, or to define new applications
- TP-Based, TSS-Based Batch COBOL – Program maintenance support, upgrade, problem or abort identification/correction and new development
- Operating System Maintenance – GCOS 8 upgrades and maintenance
- Program Management for the Technical Services Agreement – As part of the service, Bull Services will provide management of resource utilization for the various application projects. All requests for services are coordinated through the Technical Services Program Manager for scheduling, monitoring, and priority establishment
