At a glance

Everllence transformed its sensitive CAE/HPC environment with a secure hybrid architecture that connects on-premises resources with cloud capacity for greater flexibility and scalability.

The client

Everllence operates complex, compute-intensive engineering workflows where simulation speed, data security, platform reliability and uninterrupted product development are business-critical requirements.

Why Bull

science + computing, a Bull business, combined HPC consulting, cloud integration and managed operations expertise to help Everllence modernise securely, improve efficiency and scale compute capacity without disruption.

Modernising business-critical HPC without disruption

The challenge was to implement the Cloud strategy of Everllence within the highly demanding and business-critical CAE/HPC environment – without compromising operational stability or causing delays in product development.
This area represents one of the most sensitive parts of the IT landscape: exceptionally high computational workloads, time-critical simulations, and strict data security requirements.
The goal was to design and realise a hybrid HPC solution that connects on-prem systems with the Cloud while ensuring reliability and compliance.

A secure hybrid HPC cloud architecture

Together with the customer, we conducted an on-site HPC strategy workshop to precisely analyse technical, operational, and strategic requirements.
Based on this, a hybrid integration concept was developed to link existing on-prem resources with a dedicated HPC Cloud environment - considering security, performance and compliance requirements.

During the stable, multi-year operation of the platform, workflows were optimised, workloads were intelligently distributed, and the environment gradually transferred to a multi-HPC Cloud structure.
